Partner Brand Spotlight: Navy Hill Continues to Disrupt Mixer Category with Line Extension and Expanded Distribution

In January 2021, Silver Falcon Capital announced our direct investment in Navy Hill, a female-owned premium mixer company with a portfolio of low-calorie soda and tonic mixers featuring electrolytes. Since announcing our investment, Navy Hill co-founders Jenny Lucas and Katie Williams have been hard at work growing the brand through new retailer partnerships, line extensions, and digital marketing.

Navy Hill has recently gained distribution in Lowes Foods, Wegmans and many other regional accounts, on top of their existing presence in Whole Foods, The Fresh Market, Publix, Harris Teeter, and Central Market. Navy Hill has also grown their DTC business through digital marketing efforts driving to e-commerce at  www.navyhill.com and Amazon. In addition to growing distribution, Navy Hill recently launched a new multi-serve 750ml bottle, available in their Original Soda + Tonic and Club Soda varieties. Unlike their smaller bottles, these were designed for multiple servings with a screw-off cap to preserve the flavor and carbonation of the mixers between cocktails. They announced the launch on their Instagram account, @drinknavyhill, to overwhelmingly positive feedback from consumers and retailers. 

At the forefront of their digital strategy is social media, where they’ve invested in updated imagery, specifically focusing on beautiful lifestyle photos for use on Instagram. Over the last three months, Navy Hill has reached 127% more Instagram users than the previous three-month period through an enhanced content strategy with a consistent cadence of Instagram stories. Navy Hill has also prioritized influencer sampling, as well as embarking on new partnerships with like-minded brands through social giveaways.
