Partner Brand Spotlight: Condé Nast Traveler Names Portfolio Restaurants to List of Best Restaurants in Orlando

Condé Nast Traveler has named Luke’s Kitchen & Bar and Prato, two Orlando-based concepts by Park Lights Hospitality and a part of the Silver Falcon Capital portfolio, to their round-up of the 21 Best Restaurants in Orlando. The restaurants are humbled to be named to a list of so many reputable establishments that feature incredible talent.

Check out the excerpts below and read the full list here.

Luke’s Kitchen & Bar

Rustic-modern with wood and metal accents, dimly lit, spotlight on big open kitchen. This is another restaurant by Brandon McGlamery of Prato and Luma on Park (now closed) fame. It’s a bit more casual than Prato but still very buzzy and contemporary. You’ll never go wrong with the crab cakes or a burger as well as anything from the wood-fired grill or smoke box. The oysters are also awesome here. Desserts are twists on classics, like root beer floats with Tahitian vanilla and Key Lime semifreddo instead of the standard pie.

Prato

A long hall-like dining space that stretches to the back where the wood-fired ovens, imported from Italy, churn out pizzas and the many other dishes finished there. A great restaurant for making a meal out of small plates, starting with the most famous one—the Prato meatballs, topped with sinfully good onions finished in the wood oven. The pizzas are thin and crispy with simple, pure ingredients. Chef Brandon Glamery brings the best of Italian ingredients but interprets things his own way, and makes sure almost every dish is touched at some point by the wood fire. If you try just one pasta dish, make it the mustard spaghettini cacio e pepe with speck and radicchio.
